Canesten Clotrimazole Thrush Cream

Common causes of thrush:

• Antibiotics can destroy friendly bacteria that keep vaginal yeast under control
• A weak immune system brought on by illness
• Hormone changes brought on by pregnancy, the pill, or a period
• Over-use of chemical deodorants, perfumed body wash or sprays near the vagina
• Poor diet, lack of sleep, or stress
• Tight or synthetic clothing creating a warm, moist environment.

Canesten Once Cream is a convenient, one-off treatment for thrush, suitable for women who experience vaginal dryness. It contains a tube of cream which is inserted high into the vagina with an easy to use applicator. It is important to note this product is for internal vaginal use only. If you wish to treat an external itch we recommend you use Canesoral Duo or Canesten Once Pessary + Cream.

Canesten Clotrimazole cream contains Clotrimazole 20 mg/g.

If this is the first time you have had thrush, talk to your doctor before using any treatment.
